Why you should get mammograms

The incidence of cancer of the breast reached the 22,000 cases per year. According to current scientific evidence most of these cases could be prevented in time by examining both practical and effective: the mammogram . While mammography is not a foolproof method to detect all nodules and cysts in the breast tissue is one of the most useful for early diagnosis.

Experts say the least cases of women affected by a malignant tumor in the breast has decreased enormously by the addition of tests with the latest technology such as mammography . In all advanced countries in the world recommend the practice of mammography in all women over age 40 (the age at which they might present the majority of malignant tumors ). Worth noting that in some countries recommend a mammogram every two years, while in other countries it is common to ask all women aged 40-50 years who do a mammogram every year.

While mammography remains one of the most effective early detection of cancer of the breast is necessary to consider some of the hypotheses on the origin of this type of malignancy .According to recent environmental studies, the occurrence of cancer of the breast could be directly associated with consumption of canned food products packaged in plastic, and even different chemical elements present in detergents and laundry soaps. The incidence levels of these elements in the cases of breast cancer of today can only be assessed with greater accuracy if specific studies are performed to check the final effects of these elements in the genesis of breast cancer .

Advised to eat more protein to reduce weight

According to a study by the University of Copenhagen, Denmark, the best way to prevent or combat obesity is eating a diet rich in proteins with more lean meats, low fat dairy products and vegetables.

The study, published in the New England Journal of Medicine it was argued that we must reduce consumption of refined starches like white bread and rice, and notes that the current official nutritional recommendations are not sufficient to prevent obesity.

The study is part of research studies related to the diets in the world, the project Diogenes (Diet, Obesity and Genes), which was conducted in eight countries since 2005 with funding from the European Union and managed by University of Copenhagen.
Our research documents that, if the authorities want to avoid obesity, should encourage people to consume more protein foods,” said Thomas Meinert Larsen, one of the coordinators of the project.
Larsen also emphasized the importance of eating fruits and vegetables rich in fiber, like apples and pears instead of bananas and kiwis.

he study included 938 adults and 827 children from 772 different families.

Initially, the adults followed for eight weeks, a diet of 800 calories a day, losing an average of 11 pounds. They were then randomly assigned to take one of the five different proposed schemes, all low in animal fats, in order to assess what is most effective in preventing the recovery of lost weight.

The best results were obtained by adults who maintained a diet rich in protein, weight gain of 0.93 pounds less than those following a diet low in protein.

In those who made a low glycemic index diet, weight gain was 0.95 pounds less than those who followed a diet with high glycemic index.

Par biomagnetic therapy

Par biomagnetic therapy is an alternative therapy that was discovered more than 20 years in order to improve our health without drugs and invasive with only balance the pH of the internal organs through magnetic fields of a given intensity.

This therapy is based on the idea that every disease there are two centers of action, one positive and one negative. If we apply magnetic fields by neutralizing the body will only have to decide to dispose of residual waste.

Par biomagnetic therapy is to make a sweep for each of the more than 250 points on the body identified as assets. Place a magnet on each negative, and finds the offset that by placing a positive charge.

This therapy always produces an immediate effect on the body and is especially interesting because it is based on the symptoms of a disease, but in the stimuli of the body, which gives special ability of prevention before the first signs of illness.

The most common diseases in the body of a person can be treated through therapy biomagnetic Par, except for some as important as cancer , AIDS , hepatitis and Alzheimer’s , among others.

The history of this therapy dates back to 1988 when Dr. Goiz Duran applied his magnets in a patient with AIDS and then discovered the pair Straight-Timo. Since then they have discovered some 260 more pairs, primarily related to the virus and bacteria.

New Drug for MS

Sclerosis is a neurological disease that only in Spain,is  affecting more than 50,000 young people. The new discoveries being made in the pharmaceutical industry used to launch products more effective in countering the negative effects of a disease like MS. Having done some of the tests available to ensure a diagnosis of MS can begin to administer a drug as natalizumab. Only in 2004 this drug had been allowed by the FDA in the U.S. for multiple sclerosis treatments. There was a momentary suspension of a complication, but to correct these problems continued its international distribution.

Preliminary studies to test the effectiveness of natalizumab were conclusive. There was a huge decline in the number of outbreaks of this disease compared with those reported with other drugs. Natalizumab is a monoclonal antibody type that has excellent effectiveness in the case of people who do not respond to treatment with conventional medication. Natalizumab also has fewer side effects than other drugs for MS treatment.

Prior to authorization of natalizumab on a massive scale was necessary to perform various tests to eliminate all doubts about the safety of this product. The operation of natalizumab is concentrated on one type of cell in the body known as integrins. When administered natalizumab seeks to neutralize the passage of lymphocytes and monocytes to the central nervous system, significantly reducing the body’s inflammatory response in different types of infection. The most widespread method of administration for natalizumab is given intravenously.

It is worth noting that natalizumab may also be effective in the treatment of Crohn’s disease, showing especially effective as a preventive medicine.
